EROthots

I typed SAVE20 into the cart on the 21st mostly to see whether it still worked, because the post on their X account went up on the 20th with one of those “sale ends soon, don’t wait” lines that usually means the thing died four hours ago. It worked. Twenty percent came off the whole cart, no minimum, no tiers, no fine print about which collection it applies to.

I had put two jars of BleuVitalis in there, which is their tallow face cream, and the subtotal was $230.00. The code took $46.00 off and the total landed at $184.00. Shipping showed $0.00 and taxes showed $0.00, though the small gray text underneath warns that additional taxes and fees get calculated at checkout, so I would not treat that second zero as gospel.

Forty six dollars off a skincare order from a small family shop is not nothing.

A flat % rewards the expensive thing, which is backwards from most codes

Most coupon codes want you to spend more. They set thresholds, they make you climb, they dangle fifteen percent at two hundred dollars so you go hunting for filler. This one just takes a fifth off whatever is sitting in the cart, and that changes what a smart order looks like.

Run it across their range and you can see it immediately:

  • Car Air Freshener, $12.00, becomes $9.60. You saved $2.40.
  • Bleu Eyes, $38.00, becomes $30.40. You saved $7.60.
  • BleuVitalis in the large size, $115.00, becomes $92.00. You saved $23.00.
  • Extra Strength DMSO Mag Balm at the top size, $275.00, becomes $220.00. You saved $55.00.

So if there is one thing on your list you have been circling for months, telling yourself you would get it when it went on sale, this is the order to put it in. The code is worth more than four times as much on the big jar as it is on four air fresheners. Buying small to “use the code” is the one move that does not pay here.

But hold on, you might be thinking, twenty percent off an expensive jar of face cream is still an expensive jar of face cream. Fair.

I am not going to pretend $92 is impulse money. What I will say is that the smaller size of the same product starts at $60, the code brings that to $48, and that is a much easier way to find out whether tallow agrees with your skin before committing to the big one.

Who is actually making this

This is a founder-led family operation with a medical background behind it, a nurse and PA in the family, and they render their own tallow rather than buying it in already processed. There are something like thirty products on the site now, balms and whips and soaps, a baby line, a pet line, and the DMSO remedies that seem to be what a lot of people find them through.

I have a soft spot for shops at this size. You order something, a person you could email actually packs it, and the sale is not being run by a pricing algorithm testing what you will tolerate. When they post a code on X it is because they decided to post a code on X.

Which is also why I would not sit on this one for two weeks. Big retailers run the same promotion every third Tuesday forever. Small shops run a sale, sell what they wanted to sell, and take it down.

One honest word about the DMSO products

DMSO is the reason a good chunk of their traffic shows up, and it is not a normal skincare ingredient. It is a solvent that carries whatever it is mixed with through the skin, which is the whole point of it and also the reason it deserves ten minutes of your own reading before it goes anywhere near you. Clean hands, clean skin, no leftover lotion or perfume underneath. I am not a doctor and this is a coupon article, so I am not going to tell you it is right for you. I am telling you the code applies to it and that the discount on the $275 size is the largest single saving on the site.

Before you use it

Put everything in the cart first and look at the total before you go hunting for anything else, since with a flat percentage there is no threshold to reach and nothing to unlock. What you see is what you get, multiplied by 0.8.

Check the shipping line too. Mine came through at zero on a $230 order, and I do not know where their free shipping threshold sits or whether that was part of the same promotion, so watch it on a smaller cart.

And check their X or Instagram before you assume the code is dead. They post sales fairly often, and the one before this had a different name and a different rate, so if SAVE20 has expired by the time you read this there is a decent chance something else has taken its place.
